Moradabad, a city in
north central India, in north-western Uttar
Pradesh state lies on the banks of the RamGanga
River, a tributary of the Ganges and about 160
Kms away across the border of Delhi. Moradabad
is an important center of trade. Several major
rail lines and a national highway link the city
with other parts of India. The nearest airport
is in Delhi.
