Moradabad, a city in north central India, in north-western Uttar Pradesh state lies on the banks of the RamGanga River, a tributary of the Ganges and about 160 Kms away across the border of Delhi. Moradabad is an important center of trade. Several major rail lines and a national highway link the city with other parts of India. The nearest airport is in Delhi.

Moradabad is famous for its brass work all over world and that is why is also known as the Brass City.
