JUVENTUD GUERRERA
Eduardo Anibal Gonzalez
Hernandez was born on 12/23/74 in Mexico City.
He is the son of Mexican wrestling legend Fuerza
Guerrera (Power Warrior). He made his pro
wrestling debut in 1992. He became known in
America due to his matches in ECW with Rey
Mysterio Jr. With the success of the lucha libre
matches in ECW, Eric Bishoff worked out a deal
where they would appear in WCW.
WCW:
For his first few years in WCW, he was mainly in
the opening matches with the other luchadores.
In 1998, Juventud won the WCW Cruiserweight
Title 3 times. His most famous feud saw him lose
his mask to Chris Jericho. In 2000, he became a
member of the Filthy Animals and won the tag
team title with Rey Mysterio. His tenure in WCW
would end in disgrace.
Fall from grace and
comeback:
During a 2000 tour of Australia he caused a
major scene at the Brisbane Marriot by tearing
off his clothes and threatening to kill himself.
When the other wrestlers could not subdue him,
cops were called in. He was promptly fired from
WCW for this incident. Authorities belive that
the night before he unknowingly smoked something
laced with PCP. Juventud went back to wrestle in
Mexico and was part of Team Mexico in TNA for a
brief period in 2004.
The Mexicools:
In the summer of 2005, he appeared in the
WWE for the first time in his career. The
Mexicools, led by Juventud Guerrera, also
consist of Super Crazy and Psychosis. They come
to the ring riding lawn mowers as a form of
protest of the way Mexicans are viewed in
America. In his second WWE PPV match, Juventud
became Cruiserweight champ by beating Nunzio. He
was released from the WWE on 1/6/06.
