Flat Iron Hair Makeover

To get a beautiful stylish look. Try these simple steps:

bullet

Wash as usual, then air-dry if your hairs naturally stick straight or blow-dry on high heat using a paddle brush. If your hair’s on the curly side. A girl with curly or wavy hair also uses a paddle brush with a rubber core when drying because it really grips shorter hair and pulls it as smooth as possible.

bullet

Once you’re totally dry, divide out a two-inch-wide panel of hair from the underneath layer beside your face if it’s easier for you, try clipping the top layers above this panel so they don’t fall while you’re ironing. Now douse the whole section with a heat protectant spray, count to ten to let the spray set, then grab the straightening iron and get ready to clamp.

bullet

Grab hold of the panel at its roots and pull the iron through slowly to the ends hold here for three seconds. Release. To ban any bend whatsoever, take the iron and re-clamp on just the panel’s ends again make sure you’re angling the iron away from your neck-almost as though you’re trying to create a flip. Release. Repeat this two-step process around your head, doing the bottom layers first, moving to the middle, and then going over the top layers.

bullet

Now that you’re super duper straight, it’s time to muddy up your look a little so it’s not so perfect looking. You don’t have to be blonde to use this stuff, squirt a little on your palms through just the ends of your hair to create a finish that’s pretty piece-y and in a good way a bit disheveled.
