Dry:
Moisturizing cream with essential fats,
humectants and emollients such as petrolatum and
shea butter is ideal for this skin type. The fat
and humectants content of the cream softens the
skin and the emollients lock the moisture.
Oily:
Look for an oil free lotion and gels that
contains humectants silicone derivatives. They
attract water and lock in moisture without
clogging pores.
Normal Skin:
Try using non greasy lotion with a balanced
mixture of humectants and emollients. This
maintains the ideal moisture of your skin by
attracting the water into your skin and locking
it in to prevent evaporating.
Sensitive:
Make sure you are using fragrance free
moisturizer for sensitive skin. This specific
cream doesn’t contain irritating ingredients
like lanolin, acid, mineral oil and retinoids.
They hydrate the skin without causing
inflammation. They also create a protective
barrier to lock in moisture.
